It' s Tyme for  Red Beans and Rice Yall!!!

I have tryed, tested and found my Grandma' s Red Beans and Rice recipe to be delicious!!!. My Grandmother was from the good ole dirty south Atlanta GA.and we also included in addition to the sausage; "chopped stew meat"...This recipe is to die for, its really delicious, if you have meat eaters then this is a deal maker foreal! My husband, His co-Workers and all my sons love this!!!

INGREDIENTS:

1 pound of small Red Beans
1 -2 pounds Smoked Neck Bones of even a meaty ham bone
2 packages Hot or Regular (pork or beef) Sausage
2 pound of Stew meat (cut into mini bite sizes)
2 medium Yellow Onions, chopped
1 medium Green Bell Pepper, chopped
2 cloves Garlic, minced
Celery ribs, chopped
Seasonings:

Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning (This is what does it for me!)
Black Pepper to taste
Bay Leaves
2 tablespoons Chili Powder
1 1/2 tablespoons Paprika
Cumin as much or little as you want I use alot....makes the red beans delicious!!!
Combine all your ingredients into a large stock pot and bring to a boil. Reduce your heat to a low simmer and cook until your beans are done and thick. When you are ready to serve your red beans place a serving of cooked white rice ( I love Jasimine rice)in the bottom of a bowl or in the center of a plate and Then spoon those red beans and the juice over your rice. If you wish serve some cornbread...Yall will be laying out on the carpet!!!!!
